Rose Ann Glenn

Rose Ann (Josh) Glenn was born February 24, 1946 to Norris and Verna Josh. She had five brothers and one sister, Floyd, Delbert, Ervin, Earl, Daryl and Gloria. On March 20, 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Austin Glenn and to this union four children were born, Kevin, Joseph, Andrew and Ann. Rose Ann passed from this life on December 1, 2016 after battling cancer.

Rose Ann lived in Yuma until 2015, moving to Saint George, KS to be closer to her daughter, Ann and her family. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school for a number of years and was active in the Bible study group. Rose Ann worked various jobs in her lifetime but her passion was breeding and raising dogs. This passion grew into her owning her own business, Rainbow Kennels. Her AKC dogs brought joy to many families. The breeds included Pomeranians, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Miniature Schnauzers and Lhasa Apso. She also had a dog grooming business.

Rose Ann is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Delbert and Ervin and sister, Gloria, her husband, Austin and infant son, Kevin. She is survived by her brother Daryl and wife Carol of Akron, CO. Brother Earl of Nacadosches, TX. Son Joseph and wife Shelly of Yuma, CO and his children Brittnee and Kaleb. Son Andrew and his wife Kari of Elizabeth, CO and their daughters Meleah and Andrea. Daughter Ann and her husband Randy of Saint George, KS and their children, Tyler, Wyatt, Lane and Halyn, and six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Yuma, Colorado with Reverend Dennis Fitzpatrick officiating.  An inurnment will follow at a later date.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
