Charles Lee Self

Charles Lee Self was born on March 25, 1953 in Greeley, Colorado to Harvey and Helen (Rummey) Self .  He passed away on November 9, 2016 at his home in Paragould, Arkansas. 

Charles attended school and graduated from Greeley Central High School in Greeley, Colorado.  Charles married Sharleen (Fadenrecht) Self on December 15, 1973 in Joes, Colorado.  To this union one son, Bryan was born.

Charles had several different occupations which included being a truck driver, a police officer but the majority of his working years he was a Master Electrician retiring after thirty years. 

Charles loved helping the neighbors with any projects as they were needed and enjoyed participating in community service. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Helen Self; his mother-in-law, Connie Fadenrecht; sister-in-law, Randi Sue Fadenrecht and brother-in-law, Delbert Fadenrecht. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Sharleen Self of Paragould Arkansas; son, Bryan David Self and wife Megan of Greeley, Colorado; granddaughters, Britney Self and Olivia Booth of Greeley, Colorado; Grandson, Bradley Self of Greeley, Colorado and father-in-law, Earloyd Fadenrecht and wife, Carol of Joes, Colorado.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Grassroots Foundation or to Gideon Bibles. 

There will be a memorial service at the Liberty Baptist Church in Joes, Colorado with Pastor Wilfred Fadenrecht and Pastor Jack Stout officiating.  There will be a private family inurnment at the New Hope Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in Joes, Colorado at a later date.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
