Randall William Busch known as Randy was born December 9, 1946 to Leonard Randall Busch and Elizabeth Rouyn Bathurst Busch. Randy passed away on July 28, 2016 at his home in Holyoke, Colorado at the age of 69.
Randy graduated High School in Venango, Nebraska in 1965. He was an excellent athlete lettering in football and track also was honored as the Homecoming King. He then attended Kearney State College graduating in 1969.
He served in the United States Army from 1970 – 1972. Which led to him being a life-time member of the American Legion Post 270 which included serving as commander for twelve years. He was the recipient of the Horse Collar Award through the American Legion.
Randy married Margaret (Anderson) Busch on December 31, 1991 in Grant, Nebraska, becoming the step-father to Marie Williams and Randy Hale.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Randall Busch; mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Busch and granddaughter, Cassidy Hale; his aunt, Marilyn Schmidt; uncle, Carl Schmidt and aunt, Irene Busch.
Randy is survived by his wife, Margaret Busch of Holyoke; brother, Jim Busch and wife, Melody of Windsor, Colorado; brother, Brian Busch and wife, Diana of Houston, Texas; sister, Marlene Vera and husband, Jose of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-children, Marie Williams and husband, Scott of Olathe, Kansas and Randy Hale and wife, Jackie of Holyoke, Colorado; grandchildren, Taylor Hale of Holyoke, Colorado; Amanda, Samantha and Cody Williams of Olathe, Kansas; two great granddaughters, Mariyah and Mikayla of Olathe, Kansas; Nieces, Carrie Willoughby and husband, Lucas of Charleston, South Carolina; and Catherine Busch of Houston, Texas; his aunts in Canada Ida Cowan, Diana McLeod, Sylvia Sangster and numerous Canadian cousins along with many other cousins, relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Baucke Funeral Chapel in Holyoke, Colorado with Father William Jungmann officiating. Interment followed at the Holyoke Cemetery.
