Gregory Jack Wise

1972 ~ 2015

Gregory Jack Wise was born October 5th, 1972 to Emmett and Bonita Wise. He was born in Denver, CO. At the age of three his father left police force and they moved back to the farm in Joes, CO.

Gregory enjoyed ranching, farming, and especially traveling down the dirt roads with dear old dad. Also, he liked to collect antique toy tractors, artifacts, and firearms.

In his younger years he attended church at Four Square Church and baptized at the Methodist Church in Kirk, CO. Where he became a member. He then attended Cope Community Church with his first love Monica Ray Jones.

Gregory was a member of the Country Challengers 4H where he showed market beef. He received Grand Champion Steer and two Reserved Steers. Also, he showed and fit steers at the National Western

Stock Show.

He graduated from Liberty High School and continued his college education for one year at Fort Hays State. Gregory and Monica joined the skeet-shooting club in college. He then transferred to CSU and

received his Masters in Animal Science.

He always looked forward to traveling to Old Mexico with the Walters family, Alaska, and Arizona. He particularly loved visiting Las Vegas with his mother and friend Justin Blach.

To all family and friends Gregory will be greatly missed but he is home now, with the Lord and his soul mate Monica Ray Jones.

A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10 a.m., at the Liberty School in Joes, CO. An Interment followed in the Cope Cemetery. Memorials may go to Greg Wise Memorial or the Yuma County Fair. Baucke Funeral Home in Yuma was in charge of the arrangements.
