Violet Mable Schocke

Violet Mable Nielsen/Schocke passed away in the city where she retired to Sallisaw Oklahoma at age 84, on November 5, 2018.  She was born at the Haxton Hospital on April 17, 1934. She was the youngest child of Louis Edgar Nielsen, whose family was early settlers in Bryant and Vesta Blanche White/Nielsen married December 24, 1925; they farmed until retirement brought them to Sterling, Colorado.  Violet was the youngest of five siblings who have preceded her in passing oldest to youngest - Fred Nielsen, Julia Nielsen/Dunning, Edgar Nielsen, and Marlow Nielsen.  On the farm in Yuma, she had her pet lamb; she would travel with anyone going somewhere and loved playing softball. 

Violet married Roger Kent Schocke on August 8, 1954. Roger preceded Violet in death on September 28, 2002. By great design, Roger and Violet began a water well drilling company in Commerce City, east of Denver in 1961. They had a well-known prosperous and productive business in the Denver Metro area.  Violet and Roger had 3 children, the oldest surviving Randy Jo Nielsen of Ft. Smith, Arkansas who has 2 children Amber Jiles of Sallisaw, OK who married George Jiles, 2 great grandchildren Korrdell Jiles a Senior, and Ayrland Jiles 6th grade, Jordan Keaton of Denver, Co with Victoria Morgan who have 1 great grandchild, Bianca Keaton a Sophomore.  Their middle child, Gayle Schocke of Denver, CO passed June 3, 2014, and their youngest child Kory Scheer married to Dennis Scheer of Granada Hills, California with 1 grandchild Roger Scheer, a Freshman.  
Violet Nielsen/Schocke was dedicated to those she loved, hard working as they built their well drilling business, and she enjoyed many new restaurant experiences far and wide with family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 1:00pm. Viewing at Baucke Funeral Home and then Graveside service will follow.
