Tyler Wayne Hardy of Akron, CO born to David Hardy and Donna Beach Gissel on January 12, 1982 in Wray, CO.  He passed away March 17, 2023, at home in Akron, CO of a long-term illness.

Tyler married Tracy Cullis on May 7, 2021 in Estes Park, Colorado.

Tyler worked in various positions over the course of his lifetime as he relocated from Longmont, CO, to Laramie, WY, back to Longmont, CO, and then settling down in Akron, CO until the time of his passing.  Some of the jobs that he enjoyed was a Yard Foreman at Colorado Fertilizer (Longmont, CO), mobile windshield service technician at Safelite (Longmont, CO), The Liquor Store (Longmont, CO) for a short period before he relocated to Akron, CO and worked at O’Dells grocery store and then Washington County Jail in Akron until he was unable to work due to a disability.

Tyler was baptized and became a member of the United Methodist Church in Yuma, CO on March 16, 2023.

His interests were fishing, gun collections, and playing guitar.

His survivors are; wife, Tracy Collis Hardy and daughters, Cassie and Sabrina of Sterling, CO, Father Dave Hardy of Akron, CO, Mother Donna Beach Gissel (Bob Gissel), Grandmother, Lucille Hardy of Akron, CO, Sisters, Tomarra Hardy of Washington, Cherokee Jackson of Wyoming, Kathy Gissel of Longmont, CO, Brothers, Nick Gissel of Longmont, CO and Greg Gissel (April Gissel) of Longmont, CO .  Aunts, Kathy Anzlovar of Yuma, CO, Linda Blacker (Ron Blacker) of Yuma, CO, Gail Lowery (John Lowery) of Akron. Uncles, Richard Beach of Fort Garland, CO, Russel Hardy of Akron, CO, Joe Hardy of Akron, CO.  Best Friend, Daniel Cornwell, and numerous other family members.

Proceeded in death Grandparents, Doral and Nadine Beach and Delbert Hardy, Uncle Charley Anzlovar, Christopher Gissel, and great-cousin Amaiya Kay Miracle.  Tracy’s mother and her two brothers.

Services will be held at the Yuma United Methodist Church in Yuma, CO on March 28th, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. by Jeri Soens of Haxtun United Methodist Church.
