Terry Pocock

Terry was born June 16, 1942 in Osh Kosh, NE to Harley & Hazel Pocock. He was raised in North Platte, graduated North Platte High School in 1960, then attended a Trade School in Milford, NE, where he learned auto body repair, and electrical. He helped his dad build some homes in North Platte, where his dad was a local builder and realtor. He worked in local car dealerships, then later moved to Denver where he continued his trade for many years. He opened his own shop in Lakewood, CO, & later moved to Holyoke in 1972. He had Terry's Body Shop there until he went to Burlington Northern Railroad in 1976 as a foreman, then track inspector. He retired from there in 1997. He worked at the local hardware store part time.

Terry & Mardelle Wells were married (1965-1997) in Holyoke. Their sons are Jeffery, Sean, & Darin Pocock. They lived in the Wages & Amherst communities. Terry had been a member of the Holyoke Jaycees, Amherst Fire Dept., Lions Club, & Lutheran Church in Holyoke. He enjoyed woodworking & working on cars. He lived at Regent Park Nursing Home in Holyoke the past several months, until his death on October 31, 2025 at the age of 83. Survivors include sons Jeff Pocock (Janell) of Ovid, CO, Sean (Ana) Pocock of Denver, & Darin (Seidy) Pocock of Star Valley Ranch, WY. Grandchildren are Bryan(Kallie & 4 children) of Milliken, CO, Keith (Elise & 4 children) Pocock of Holyoke, Kyle (Molly) Pocock of Flagler, CO, Alexis (Jon) Garcia of Bennette, CO, Brooke of Thornton, CO, Christopher Esquivel of Denver, & Victoria Pocock of Mesa, AZ. Terry also had 8 great grandchildren.

Per Terry's request there will be no service. A private Internment will be at the Big Springs, NE Cemetery at a later date.
