Sharon Lea Lohmeyer

Sharon Lea (Gorham) Lohmeyer was born March 20, 1953 to Donald and Ethel (Kindsfater) Gorham in Sterling, Colorado.  She passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 67, following a tragic car accident in Yuma, Colorado. 

Sharon attended the Sterling schools graduating from Sterling High School with the Class of 1971. 

She was married to Jerry Lohmeyer on September 23, 1979 in Sterling, Colorado at the Lion Congregational Church. 

Sharon liked to do crafts, was an avid reader and caring for her cats and little dog.  She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ethel Gorham; her aunts and uncles a brother-in-law, Keith and her mother-in-law and father-in-law. 

Sharon is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Jerry of almost forty-one years along with other cousins, relatives and a host of friends. 

There will be viewing  n Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Baucke Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:30 at the Yuma Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado with Pastor Jamie Fiorino officiating.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
