On Friday, April 30, 2021, Robin Renee Papp, loving wife, daughter, and sister passed away peacefully at age 54.
Robin was born on May 11, 1966 in Greeley, Colorado to Larry and Twila Emory. Upon graduating from Osborne High School in 1984, she worked in a nursing home where her love of helping others shined through. She also worked at Hach in Loveland, Colorado for over a decade. On March 21, 1992 she married Michael Robert Papp, where they settled in Johnstown, Colorado.
Robin loved family get togethers, crafting, and making the best homemade Christmas candies that would make any professional baker envious. She enjoyed road trips with her husband that would often take them off of the beaten path to old barns and ghost towns. She also loved to shop and would brag about all of the bargains she could find. She was known for her giving heart, her quick wit, and her endless love of making homemade gifts, such as pinatas.
Robin is survived by her husband Michael, father Larry, sisters Kristi Emory (Alsey Chandler) of Haxtun, Colorado, and Tonya Baker (Greg) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, brother Henry Emory of Haxtun, Colorado, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was processed in death by her mother Twila Emory.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, at the Haxtun City Park Gazebo, Haxtun, Colorado at 2:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Country Treasures Floral and More in Holyoke, Colorado, (970) 854-6000.
