Robert "Bob" Eugene Fetzer

Robert Eugene (Bob) Fetzer passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 85 at his home.

Bob was born in Haxtun, Colorado on May 7, 1938 to Oscar and Alma Fetzer of Fleming Colorado. He was the first of four siblings. Bob attended Fleming high school and graduated in 1956.

After high school, Bob worked various jobs and in 1961 started working at the Haxtun farmers co-op elevator where he was eventually promoted to manager until he retired in 1991. After retiring, Bob expanded his working on the farm, which was his passion. Bob also enjoyed remodeling homes on the side.

Bob met his wife while working at the Standard station in Haxtun. Bob married Nancy Burmester on September 27, 1959 at the Lutheran Church in Haxtun.

 Bob enjoyed family time, especially going to Lake McConahay where he enjoyed fishing and pulling his kids on skis behind the boat.

 Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy, son Richard Fetzer (LaDonna) of North Platte, Nebraska. Daughter, Deb Boltjes (Hod) of Lavernia, Texas and son, Roger Fetzer (Amy). 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren two brothers and one sister. He was greeted in heaven by his parents, two brothers in law, and one sister in law.
