Robert “Bob” John Grewe, a 51-year resident of Northglenn, CO, died October 17, 2022, at the age of 79. He was born June 29, 1943, in West Point, Nebraska to William Joseph and Rose Mary (Ortmeier) Grewe. Bob attended school in rural West Point before the family moved to Lyons, Nebraska where he grew up helping with the family farm. He joined the Marine Corp in 1964 and proudly served his country in Vietnam while being stationed at Camp Pendleton. He was honorably discharged in 1967 and married Rose Mary Eimers on June 17, 1967. Bob and Rosie lived in Omaha prior to relocating to Colorado in early 1971 where they raised their 3 children, Stephanie Marie, Jennifer Ann and Christopher Robert.

Family was Bob’s top priority and source of happiness.  Bob spent his adult life as a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandpa.  Bob held various management positions throughout his career after serving his country in the Marine Corp.  He spent many a day coaching his kids’ soccer teams, riding bikes, watching Bronco games with family, and living his faith as a parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn, CO, and Assumption Catholic Church in Welby, CO.  He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.  You’d find Bob supporting his grandkids by attending sporting events and school programs, whether they were close to home or in Holyoke, CO.  He enjoyed being outdoors, taking pride in caring for his yard and spending time in the Rocky Mountains. Bob loved helping with any home improvement project, whether it was his own or for one of his kids.  Bob was a nurturing and quiet but strong presence in his family’s lives.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Rose Grewe, his brother Gerald Grewe and his sister-in-law, Yvonne Grewe.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Rose Mary Grewe, daughter Stephanie and husband Ernie Krogmeier, and children, Amy, Ryan, Emily (fiance Zack), & Elise; daughter Jennifer and husband Ty Anderson and children Jordan (wife Susanna and son Robert Bruce), Petty Officer First Class Anderson (Benjamin), and Simon; and son Christopher and wife Jennifer and children, Cailyn, Ashley and Reilly.

He is also survived by brother Edmund Grewe, sister-in-law Karen Grewe, brother James (Maria) Grewe, sister Kathleen (John) Redding and brother Reverend Michael Grewe as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
