Pamela Faye Erickson, age 69, of Holyoke passed away on October 5th, 2025. Pam was born on May 22, 1956 in Goodland, KS to Claude and Agnes Day. She enjoyed her childhood in Kansas and moved to Holyoke when she was a teenager. She graduated from Holyoke High School in 1974. Shortly after that she married John Erickson and they lived in Holyoke.

Pamela had a fiery spirit and was passionate about caring for her family and her beloved dogs, always putting others first. Pamela loved the simple joys of life, including celebrating the holidays with cooking and baking alongside her family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled with the warmth of homemade treats and the laughter of loved ones gathered around. She was also known for her love of a strong cup of black coffee, which she enjoyed while spending time with those closest to her or reflecting on the day. A woman of many talents, she was an avid crafter, finding joy in crochet, embroidery, sewing, and puzzles, creating beautiful works with her hands while sharing her time and care with those around her.

She had a deep love for wolves and enjoyed visiting the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, where she could connect with the majestic animals she admired so much. Pamela was also a supporter of many organizations, including the ASPCA, World Wildlife Fund, and various wildlife sanctuaries, reflecting her lifelong commitment to protecting animals and the environment.

Pamela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pam is survived by her husband John W. Erickson, daughter Shannon M. Erickson, son Shane W. Erickson , granddaughter Victoria M. Erickson , grandson Logan W. Erickson and sister Claudette Hornkohl.
