Judy Crossland Obituary

Judy Lynn (Salvador) Crossland was born on September 7th, 1958, to Paul & Florence (Langdon) Salvador in Haxtun CO. Judy married Harold Crossland September 30th, 1984. Judy passed away on May 6, 2024.

Judy attended Holyoke & Haxtun schools. After graduating from Haxtun High School in 1977, Judy went to Northeastern Junior College to pursue her cosmetology career. Judy was then a passionate beautician for 45 years, including owning her own beauty shop.  Judy took very good care of her clientele accommodating them for when they needed anything, some of those things consisted of; doing home appointments, taking very early and late appointments, picking up her clients, taking her clients to do any errands they needed to do before taking them home after their hair appointments. Judy also enjoyed going to the Haxtun Nursing home to do her clients hair when they were in there.  After her countless hard working hours in her salon, you would catch Judy spending most of the night in a tractor raking hay, helping out her husband ,Harold, with his custom hay business. Judy made it to support almost all of her great nephews and niece extracurricular activities such as; sports, concerts, school speeches, continuations, graduation and so much more! Judy was an independent, hardworking, and dependable woman! She will be greatly missed! 

Judy was proceeded in death by her Husband: Harold Crossland, her Parents: Paul & Florence (Langdon) Salvador, her in-laws: Vic & Marian Crossland,  her brother-in-law: William ‘B.J.’ Johnston, Grandparents: Lloyd & Millie (Harnish) Langdon, Richard ‘R.M.’ & Lillian Salvador. 

Judy is survived by her Sister: Cheryl Salvador Johnston, her Brother Mike Salvador & Carol, Nephews: Matt & Justin Salvador, Great Nephews: Braden & Bryson Salvador & Great Niece: Braylin Salvador & many other nephews & nieces & family & friends.

Private graveside services were held on June 7th, 2024
