Josephine Raimondi, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 10th in her home. She was a woman full of warmth, wisdom, and joy — a guiding light to all who knew her.
A devoted follower of Jesus, her faith was the foundation of her life and a source of strength and comfort to many. She lived with grace, compassion, and an open heart.
Josephine had a gift for making life beautiful — whether through her love of dancing, her joy in cooking, or the way she turned simple gatherings into unforgettable celebrations. She had a special talent for entertaining, and her home was always filled with laughter, delicious food, and the feeling of being truly welcomed.
She was the heart of her family, always ready to lend advice, offer a listening ear, and give unconditional love. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding true happiness in their company and milestones.
Her legacy of love, joy, and generosity will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren — each one a testament to the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed, but her memory lives on in the traditions she passed down, the recipes we will continue to cook, and the memories we hold close.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years Michael,
• Her children: Michael J (Lorie), Steven (Sandra), and Rose-Anne
• Her grandchildren: Jennifer, Casey (Ben), Stefanie, Veronica, Michael
• Her great-grandchildren: Anthony, Titus, Nicholas, Noa Josephine (lovingly named after her)
A celebration of her life will be held on July 22nd at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
