Jason Lee Redman (1972–2026) was a kind, dedicated, and hardworking man whose presence touched all who knew him. Born in Boulder, Colorado, Jason was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and made Holyoke his home in 1997 when he married Misti (Miller).
Jason had a “get things done” mentality that he lived out every day. He took great pride in working with his hands and could often be found in his shop—his favorite place to work on projects, fix things, and tinker around. It was also where he gathered with friends and family for nightly games of cards, laughter, and conversation. A true jack of all trades, Jason continually amazed those around him with his creativity, problem-solving, and ability to bring ideas to life.
Much of Jason’s time was spent outdoors, where he felt most at home. He enjoyed traveling with his family, puttering around on the golf course, fishing, tending to his bees, and putting in the hard work each year to prepare the annual pumpkin patch.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Misti, and their two children, Whitni (Joseph Al-Feghali) and Holden Redman. He is also survived by his mother, Ann Berry; his sister, Katina Lugo (Mario Lugo); his nephews Anthony and Andrew Lugo; his grandmother, Pat Redman; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Stengel and James Redman; his grandmother, Marjorie Stengel; his dad, John Berry; his biological father, Donald Redman; his mother-in-law, Melody Miller; and his father-in-law, Dan Miller.
Jason will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and the countless ways he showed up for the people he loved.
