Helen Knight Obituary

Helen Irene Knight was born on June 11, 1940 to Freeman and Ruth (Severns) Wadsworth in Rushville, Nebraska.

Helen married Wendell (Pete) Knight on August 22, 1958, when they eloped to Hot Springs, South Dakota. Helen and Pete spent nearly fifty-nine years together before Pete’s passing on May 18, 2017.

Helen worked at various jobs including the Gas Company, Dental Office, as a Teacher’s Aide, at the family business Knight and Son.

Helen was a member of the Emerson Street Church of Christ.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Knight; parents, Freeman and Ruth Wadsworth; in-laws, Roy and Laurene Knight.

Helen in survived by her three children, Kristine Gordon and husband, Roger; Kendell Knight and wife, Sheri; Kameron Knight and wife, Donna along with eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
