Georgia Lea (Weiss) Hinck was born on December 8, 1941, in Haxtun, CO to Milton and Laurine Weiss. She passed away on March 29, 2025, at HCA Presbyterian-St. Lukes in Denver, CO with family by her side.
Georgia married Fletcher Eugene Hinck on July 18, 1964, at the First Christian Church in Holyoke, CO. They were blessed with four children: Rickie, Craig, Lisa, and Michelle.
Georgia worked as a grocery checker and meat packer until marriage to Fletcher. Then she became a home maker which had an “open house” to all that wanted to come in. She also worked with Fletcher detailing automobiles and installing underground sprinkler systems for their business G&G Enterprises.
Georgia’s interests were playing bingo, going to church where she was a Missionette Leader and a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed trolling, fishing, boating, camping, taking day drives, playing cards, backyard BBQ’s, bon fires, family gatherings, tanking, gardening flowers and vegetables, yardwork, canning, and baking. Up until the last month and a half she crocheted every day for several hours with her cousin Louise Krueger.
Georgia was the best example of what a Godly Women should be. Everyone that came to visit was welcomed with a warm heart and offered drinks and snacks and lots of LOVE.
Georgia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great grandma, cousin and friend.
Georgia is survived by: Husband Fletcher (Gene) Hinck, Brother Dallas Weiss and wife Judy of Fairbury, NE, Brother Ron Koch of Windsor, CO., Son Rickie Hinck and wife Mary of Holyoke, CO., Son Craig Hinck of Holyoke, CO., Daughter Lisa and Husband Gregory Wood of Dix, NE., and Daughter Michelle and husband Kenneth Gregg of Holyoke, CO., 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Georgia was preceded in death by her Father Milton Weiss, Mother Laurine Weiss Koch, Stepfather Rolland Koch, Siblings Brother Larry Weiss Sister in law Kathy Weiss Werner, Sister Thelma Roggenbuck Brother in law Robert Roggenbuck, Sister JoAnn Stein and Brother-in-law Larry Stein, Nephews David Roggenbuck, Robbie Roggenbuck, and Kent Weiss.
Services held on Thursday April 3, 2025, 10:30AM at Holyoke Assembly Of God Church by officiating minister Jay Littlefield. Followed by the burial at Holyoke Cemetery. Baucke Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
