Elizabeth “Betsy” Triplette was born on December 28, 1942 to George and Anna Koslowske in York, Nebraska and passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023 at Regent Park in Holyoke, Colorado.
The family moved to Big Springs, Nebraska where her father was pastor at the Lutheran Church. He passed away from a heart attack in 1958. After his death Betsy and her brother, John finished high school in Big Springs while living with their mother, Anna.
Betsy later married Joe Ringleman and to this marriage Ryan was born. Betsy later divorced and she, Ryan and Anna moved to Holyoke, Colorado where Betsy worked at the local liquor stores. Betsy met Steve Triplette in Holyoke and they were married on May 23, 1981. Steve and Betsy were married for nearly forty –two years and she will be dearly missed.
Betsy then went to work for Colver and Killin Law office until her retirement, at which time she went to work part time for the Phillips County Abstract Company.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Koslowske and brother, Bill and sister Adele.
Betsy is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Ryan (Shawn); sisters, Lois and Karel; brother, John and a multitude of beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial service – Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the First Christian Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
