Dennis EuGene Claymon

Dennis EuGene Claymon was born on January 27,1956 to Dale Claymon and Leila L. (Critchlow) Claymon in Haxtun, Colorado. He passed away on March 11,2024 at the Banner Health North Colorado Medical Center, in Greeley, Colorado at the age of 68.

 Dennis was the middle child of three with Natalie his older sister and Carolee his younger sister. He attended the Haxtun Schools and graduated from Haxtun High School with the class of 1974. While in high school, he participated in FFA and was a member of the football team. Dennis was married and divorced twice and was the father of three children, Candi, Ryan and Kayla.

 He worked as an equipment operator and in construction which enabled him to live in several states before returning back to Haxtun, Colorado a few years ago. Dennis was also a vintage car enthusiast and loved to look at older autos at car shows.

Dennis moved to Regent Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in July 2023 and truly enjoyed the staff and interacting with the other residents. The family of Dennis is very appreciative of the excellent care and attention he received from the entire staff at Regent Park.

Dennis is preceded in death by both his parents, Dale and Leila Claymon; his daughter Candi (Claymon) Fenwick and grandparents Roscoe and Clara Critchlow. He is survived by his sister, Natalie Krogmeier and nephew Garrett and fiance Amber and nephew Elliott and wife Caley; his sister Carolee and husband Harold Cloud, and nephew John and wife Amanda, and great nephew Carson and great niece Madison. He is also survived by close friends Josh and Patty.

There will be a private family service at the Haxtun Cemetery in Haxtun, Colorado at a later date. Arrangements were made by Baucke Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the Regent Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 816 lnterocean Avenue, Holyoke, C0 80734 in his honor and for the care of Bailey the comfort dog.
