Darlene May Workman

Darlene May Workman was born January 8th, 1945 to Roy and Permelia Workman in Benkelman, Nebraska. She passed away at her home in Eckley, Colorado at the age of 79 on September 8th, 2024.

Darlene attended school in the Laird and Wray Colorado area. Graduating from Colorado Public Schools in 1960.

Darlene was a hard worker and held several different jobs during her working career.  They included Sandhiller, Big Reds Drive-In, Shop-All, Eckley Bar and  Grill and her current job was at Wray Supers.

Darlene is preceded in death by her father, Roy Workman; mother, Permelia Workman; Twin sister, Marlene Minton and 7 other siblings.

Darlene is survived by her daughter Sheryle and Kennth Holiman of Greeley, Colorado; Granddaughter, Tristan and Robert Grayson of Buda, Texas; Granddaughter Tiffany Holiman and Jeremy Engel of Eaton, Colorado; Grandson, Jason and Sandra Becker of Johnstown, Colorado, 5 great grandchildren Dominic, Jacob, Logan, Riley, and  Jayden along with several other relatives and friends.

She will be missed and forever and always in the family's heart.

There will be a Celebration of Life  on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 3:00pm at The Baucke Funeral Chapel in Yuma, Colorado.
