1949 - 2022

Charles Ray Anzlovar was born February 8th, 1949, in Pueblo, Colorado to Joseph and Angela Anzlovar. He was the 3rd of 4 children.

Charley met his wife Katheryn Ilene Beach and they married on November 1st, 1967. To this union Jacqlyn Rae (1968) and Tracey Ann (1973) were born. Charley moved to Yuma in 1967 where he worked for Highline Electric and Schramm Feedlot.

In 1973 he began working for Hap Gaines as an apprentice plumber. In 1976 he started working for the City of Yuma with whom he retired from in 2000. During this time, he also had his own plumbing business and built and remodeled many homes in the Yuma area with Richard and Dave Hoch, Steve and Kenny Moore, and then later his son-in-law Kirk Morris.

Charley and Kathy enjoyed traveling. They visited Texas, Alaska, Hawaii, and Arizona, to name a few. There were many trips to the lake with grandkids, where he loved to fish from his pontoon and pull the kids on the tube. Charley enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and gardening. He loved working with wood and building things. His love of life and independence were taken away on September 1st, 2022, after a long struggle with dementia. He will be missed every day.

 Charley is proceeded in death by his parents Joseph and Angela Anzlovar, father-in-law Doral Beach, and mother-in-law Nadine Beach.

Charley is survived by his wife Katheryn of Yuma, CO, Daughter Jacqlyn and husband Ron Meininger of Aurora, CO; Daughter Tracey and husband Kirk Morris of Yuma, CO; Grandchildren Megan, Aaron, and Zach Meininger of Aurora, CO and Kenzie Morris of Yuma, CO. Brothers, Joe, Rudy, and Ronnie and wife Jackie Anzlovar of Pueblo, CO along with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Memorial service – Saturday, September 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Baucke Funeral Chapel with David Hoch officiating.  Inurnment will follow at the Yuma Cemetery.
