Bobbi Jean Gomez

Bobbi Jean (Uhrig) Gomez was born on August 23, 1966 to Darrell Uhrig and Donna Jean (Melvin) Uhrig in Sterling, Colorado.  She passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 55, at her home in the Lone Star Community in Otis, Colorado.

Bobbi attended Frederick High School in Frederick, Colorado.

Bobbi married Kelvin Gomez on July 23, 1984 in Dacono, Colorado. 

Bobbi was a cook and a wrestling coach at the Lone Star School, she coached for twenty-two years. 

Bobbi grew up showing and riding horses; She played volleyball while she was in school.  She loved to fish, play cards, doing anything arts and crafts related.  She really loved being the wrestling coach and working in the kitchen at the Lone Star School. 

Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, Donna Uhrig and Darrell Uhrig and her sister, Kim Uhrig; grandparents, Reeves and Edna Melvin and John and Violet Uhrig. 

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Kelvin Gomez; sons, Kevin, Kenny, Vivian III and Kyle Gomez; sister, Kari Gomez; brother, Darin Uhrig, nieces, Alyssa Gomez and Courtney Uhrig; nephew, John Uhrig along with many other relatives and friends. 

The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Baucke Funeral Home in Yuma, Colorado with Mike Harty officiating.  Interment will follow at the Leroy Cemetery in Fleming, Colorado.
