Alan "Pappy" Greg Pappenheim

Alan Greg Pappenheim was born on June 12, 1963 to Richard and Beverly (Anderson) Pappenheim in Greeley, Colorado.  He passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 60, at the Washington County Nursing Home after losing his battle to cancer. 

Alan graduated from Yuma High School with the class of 1981. 

Alan married Shelly (Kahler) Pappenheim on June 5, 1993 in Yuma, Colorado to this union two children were born, Trey and Tori. 

Alan worked for Brian and Fred Frihauf farming for several years.  Following that he worked for CHS as an applicator up until his diagnosis.

Alan loved watching every sport imaginable from watching his kids and nieces and nephews to anything on TV.  He had a huge passion for dove and pheasant hunting and never missed an opening day. 

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beverly Pappenheim. 

Alan is survived by his wife, Shelly Pappenheim and his children Trey Pappenheim and Tori Pappenheim and fiancé Joshua Prock; sister, Deb (Jim) Stauffer along with a hole lot of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials - Alan Pappenheim memorial fund in care of Baucke Funeral Home, 128 South Ash Street, Yuma, Colorado 80759. 

Service - Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Yuma, Colorado with Reverend Dennis FitzPatrick officiating. Interment to follow at the Yuma Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
