Norma Jean Schumacher

Norma Jean Schumacher was born on April 21, 1934 Charles and Grace (Munday) Hulse in Fleming, Colorado.  She passed away on October 2, 2017 at her home in Fleming, Colorado. 

Norma married Harlow Schumacher on August 2, 1953.  To this union three children were born, Johnny, Sandra and Harlan Schumacher.  Harlow and Norma were blessed with almost thirty-nine years together before Harlow passed February 17, 1992.

Norma worked in numerous Nursing Homes and Mercy Hospital in Denver, Colorado along with Home Health and Live in Care. 

Norma had several hobbies including embroidery, word search, yard work and spending time with family along with loving her dog Brady. 

Norma will be greatly missed by Sandra Schumacher-Nichols (Daughter, Fleming CO), Rose McClain (sister, Holyoke CO), Robert & Doris Stowe (Sister, Thompson Fall MT), Dave & Joanna Lawson (granddaughter & husband, Warren PA) their children Malorie & Jake, Tracey Barkey ( grandson, Fleming CO), Jeffery & Amy Rogers (grandson & wife, Center Hill FL) their daughter Jayden, Melissa & Troy Brennan (granddaughter & husband) their children Alex & Destiny, Justin Nichols (grandson, Warren PA), Brandy Nichols & Matt Allphin (granddaughter & husband, Haxtun CO) their children Brandon, Joey, Randy, Cody, Landon & Emmett, Timothy & Sara Nichols (grandson & wife, Haxtun CO), Christopher Nichols (grandson, Fleming CO), Bailey Nichols (granddaughter, Fleming CO).

Norma was preceded in Death by: Harlow Schumacher (husband), Johnny Schumacher (son), Harlan Schumacher (son), Charles & Grace Hulse (parents), James Hulse (brother), Darrell Hulse (brother), Charles Hulse (brother), Ruby Heller (sister), Charlotte Hulse (sister), Jeffery Nichols (son in law)

The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Prairie Home Baptist Church in Haxtun, Colorado with Pastor Jonathan Prescott.   Inurnment will be at a later date at the Holyoke Cemetery in Holyoke, Colorado.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
