Mike Greene

Better known as Mike to his family and friends . Mike was born August 24, 1963 to Dennie and Dorothy Greene in Yuma, Colorado, he was the youngest of 5 kids.

 Mike spent most of his life in eastern Colorado, he attended school  in Yuma and Lone Star.  He join the military 1981 he serviced the US Army for 3 years. When he was stationed in Germany he learned how to ski in the Alps.

Mike had worked on many harvest crews or as a farm hand  through his lifetime, starting as a teenager.  He has been a truck driver, driving all kinds of trucks, from hauling cows to produce. He has driving all 48 continental states from  sea to sea.

Mike loved to ride his motorcycle, especially his black one. Mike loved to meet new people and he could   strike up a conversation with anyone. He was willing to help anyone who needed it.

Mike was married once and had two children from that union, Jami and Joey.  He is preceded in death  by  his father Dennie Greene.  Mike is survived by his children Jami and Joey, his mother  Dorothy Greene, Sister Pasty Arakawa and husband Alan, brother Dan Greene,  sister Virginia Greene, brother Rick Greene and wife Rhonda. He also had many nieces and nephews.

Mike passed away May 26,2017 in San Diego, after struggling the last couple years with health problems.

 A memorial was  held June 3, 2017 at Baucke Funeral Home in Yuma at 2pm. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
