I have hunted for Mary Ellen for years. She taught me my junior year in Hermiston Oregon. I loved her. She taught me so much. She helped me buy a better violin bow from her father. I still use it. SO sad to see I have finally found her and she past away in March. So glad her children and grandson play too. She was a great teacher and a wonderful person. So thankful she came to Hermiston for one year.

Eva & Elan, I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Ellen was a wonderful woman and I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with her at various fiddle functions. I love the pictures you have posted on the site. The photograph looks so much like you, Eva! I was planning to come down for her service, but it isn't going to work out. The weather is not looking good between here and there. Just know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to see you both in the near future.
