Larry Timmens, also known as “Roller Boy 13” by his friends passed away on September 12, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on June 16, 1966 in Yuma, Colorado to Lyle Lavern Timmens and Eula Jean (Farmer) Timmens.
Larry graduated from Yuma High School with the class of 1986.
Larry always had a big smile and a hello for everyone, he never knew a stranger. Larry loved to read when he could still see. He was an avid fisherman while he could walk. He would run away from home when he didn’t get his way. He would go to the end of the block and realized he had to turn around and go back because he couldn’t cross the street.
Larry adored his family and friends he will be greatly missed by his mother, Eula Timmens of Calhan, Colorado; sister, Carrie Jones of Haxtun, Colorado; sister, Sherrie and husband, John Tull of Leadville, Colorado; brother, Jerry Timmens of Naples, Florida along with his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Yuma Cemetery with Pastor Jim Crist of the Berean Bible Church of Haxtun, Colorado officiating. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
