Jeffrey Michael Hickox

Jeffrey Michael Hickox of Haxtun, Colorado was born on April 20, 1983 to Charlie Hickox and Lynn (Olive) Fontana in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  He passed away on September 28. 2018
In Denver, Colorado.   

Jeff attended Palmer High School and received a Bachelor of Enviromental Science degree at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He married Christine Lee (Cowne) on June 9, 2013 in Manitou Springs, Colorado,  

Jeff worked for the Colorado Park and Wildlife services along with Pioneer Construction from 2012 until 2014 and was currently working as a deputy for the Phillips County Sheriff’s Department  since July 2014.  

Jeff loved the outdoors; gaming and their dog, Abby. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn (Olive) Fontana; He will be greatly missed by his wife, Christine Hickox of Haxtun, Colorado; brother, Chuck Hickox of Orlando, Florida; sister, Laurie Katsumoto of Colorado Springs, Colorado; father, Charlie Hickox of Colorado Springs, Colorado; half brothers, Dylan Hickox and Cody Hickox; half-sister, K.C. Hickox; grandmother, Mary Potter of Vancouver, Washington and step-father, Nick Fontana of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  

The memorial service was held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Haxtun Priarie Bpatist Church in Haxtun, Colorado with Pastor Kristie Firme officiating.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
