Jeffery Dale Nichols

Jeffery Dale Nichols was born on August 11, 1958 in Corry, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Durwood and Helen (Nichols) Rogers.  He passed away suddenly due to complications of a heart attack on September 29, 2017 in Fleming, Colorado

Jeff married Sandra (Schumacher) Nichols on February 10, 1989.  The children were Joanna (Rogers) Lawson, Tracey Barkey, Jeffery Rogers, Melissa (Frahm) Brennan, Justin Nichols, Brandy Nichols, Timothy Nichols, Christopher Nichols and Bailey Nichols. 

Jeff worked for many different trucking companies, Sparks 20 Bar Ranch-Hired hand, Town of Fleming-Grader Man/ Maintenance, Bamford Feedlot-Truck Driver, Bamford Farms-Truck Driver.

Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, he loved fishing and hunting, loved cars, loved all his family & friends. He loved camping on the Poudre and traveling. 

Jeff is survived by Sandra (Schumacher) Nichols (wife, Fleming Co), Helen (Nichols) Rogers (mother, Corry PA), Dave & Joanna Lawson (daughter & son in law, Warren PA) their children Malorie & Jake, Tracey Barkey ( son, Fleming CO), Jeffery & Amy Rogers (son & daughter in law, Center Hill FL) their daughter Jayden, Melissa & Troy Brennan (daughter & son in law) their children Alex & Destiny, Justin Nichols (son, Warren PA), Brandy Nichols & Matt Allphin (daughter & son in law, Haxtun CO) their children Brandon, Joey, Randy, Cody, Landon & Emmett, Timothy & Sara Nichols (son & daughter in law, Haxtun CO), Christopher Nichols (son, Fleming CO), Bailey Nichols (daughter, Fleming CO), Anita Jackson (Aunt, Corry PA), Jackie Jones (Aunt, Corry PA), Perry Nichols (Uncle, Corry PA), and several cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by Richard Depew (father), Durwood Rogers (Step Father), Robert & Nellie Nichols (Maternal Grandparents), Sam Depew (Paternal Grandparents), Ricky Nichols (Brother), Harlan Schumacher (Brother in law), Norma Schumacher (Mother in law).

The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Prairie Home Baptist Church in Haxtun, Colorado with Pastor Jonathan Prescott officiating. The inurnment will be at a later date at the Haxtun Cemetery in Haxtun Colorado.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
