Duane Dee Robertson
October 29, 1935 ~ May 22, 2017 (age 81) 81 Years OldDuane Dee Robertson was born on October 29, 1935 to Glen W. and Olive Isola (Yingling) Robertson in Yuma, Colorado. He passed away on May 22, 2017 at his home in Golden, Colorado at the age of 81.
Duane attended the Yuma Schools during High School one of his fondest memories was the time he spent with the band called the “Echo Valley Boys”. The band was quite well known they did a lot of entertaining and were booked all around the area. He later attended 2 years at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Duane joined the Army and served for two years. He was an avid sports fan. Duane was quite an entrepreneur he obtained seven patents of his inventions along with manufacturing the products, sales and distributions throughout the United States and twenty-three foreign countries.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Olive Robertson and son, Kyle Robertson. He is survived by his brother, Dexter Robertson of Yuma, Colorado ; nephews and nieces, Kirk Robertson, Stuart Robertson, Kristie (Robertson) Arnold and Kit Robertson along with other relatives and friends.
There was a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.at the Trinity Church in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with Don Smith officiating. The Graveside Service was held on Monday, June 5, 2017at 1:30 p.m. with Don Smith officiating at the Yuma Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
