Rhonda Louann (Nau) Allen

Rhonda Louann Allen passed away on March 29, 2017. Rhonda was born on March 19, 1948 in Yuma, Colorado to Walter and Gladyce Nau. She married Billy Joe Allen on December 7, 1968 in Yuma, Colorado. To this union three children were born; Brendy, Brett, and Breann.

Rhonda loved sewing and quilting. She enjoyed trips to the Front Range to attend quilting shows with her friends. She was a member of the local Quilt Guild. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grankids' sporting events. She was always willing to babysit, when she got the chance. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladyce Nau, brother Dalen Nau, mother and father-in-law, Vernie and Carrie Allen, and sister-in-laws Mildred Baker and Cora Bates.

 Rhonda is survived by her husband Billy Joe; brother Jerrel Nau of Tucson, AZ; son Brendy and wife Amy of Yuma; son Brett and Carrie of Yuma; daughter Breann and Joe of Greeley; five grandchildren Tyler, Erin, and Kerri Allen of Yuma; Kaden and Alainey Robles of Greeley.

The Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Dennis FitzPatrick officiating.  Interment will follow at the Yuma Cemetery.  Baucke Funeral directed the service.
