Pasquealo “Pat” Angelo DeBellis was born October 17, 1928 the only child of Benjamino and Lucia Bellino DeBellis in Andes, NY. He passed away on March 30, 2016 at the Yuma Life Care Center in Yuma, CO at the age of 87.

In his early years, Pasquealo worked on his parent’s farm and enjoyed playing basketball for his high school. He joined the USA Air Force in 1953 and served until November 1963, where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Pasquealo married Betty Jean Josh on January 14, 1956 in Yuma, CO. To this union two children were born, Benjamin in July 1957 and Kristina in April 1959.
After being Honorably Discharged from the Air Force he became an office supply salesman. He later pursued his dream of being a florist and opening a flower shop in El Paso , TX.  He took pride in his business, and truly relished the friends he made during this time. He went on to become a boot salesmen for Tony Lama in El Paso, TX. 

In 1992 Pat moved to Yuma, CO to be closer to his son and granddaughters. He worked for the City of Yuma where you could find him mowing the ball fields and city parks.  He later went to work for Shop-All. Pat was a greeter at Shop-All where he met everyone with a smile and enjoyed talking to the customers.  In his free time Pat enjoyed spending time cooking his family recipes, gardening, making his own wine and spending time with his family.  He especially enjoyed seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Josh DeBellis. His parents Benjamino and Lucia DeBellis. Sister-in laws Shirley Clark, Bonny Kniese and Eleanor Josh. Brother-in laws Dale Josh, Norman Clark, OJ Neuhaus and Marvin Kniese.

Pasquealo is survived by his son Benjamin and wife Jerri DeBellis of Yuma, CO. His daughter Kristina and husband Mike Labounty of Albuquerque, NM. Granddaughter April and husband Corey Biemiller of Aurora, Colorado.  Granddaughter Sara and husband Colin Shisler of Littleton, CO.  Great grandchildren Caden Biemiller, Samantha Biemiller, Oliver Shisler and Simon Shisler.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Baucke Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Nieves officiating. Interment followed in the Yuma Cemetery, Yuma Co. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
