JoDel Collette

JoDel was born in Wray Colorado, November 25 1961 to Delbert Liming and Carol Boone. JoDel passed away May 17 2018 resting peacefully at home. She attended school in Yuma, Lakewood, and eventually at Liberty High School and graduated in 1980. After graduation she traveled to Phoenix and Houston where she worked as an office temp. Upon returning she attended Barnes Business School. In 1983 she returned to Kirk with her son Chad, where she worked at the Coop as a Secretary. She met and eventually married Dennis Collette on December 24th 1986. To this marriage two more sons were born, Andrew in December of 1988 and Mitchell in May of 1991. Her life was fulfilled with being a full time home maker and terrific cook as well as multitasking many positions on the family farm. She found pleasure and joy with decorating cakes for people around the community, where the boys often enjoyed the trimmings and extra frosting. Filling her home with candles, artwork, and hand painted ceramics that she made, losing only a few pieces due to playing football in the living room. Planting beautiful flowers and caring for her yard. You could often catch her dancing around the house listening to her favorite songs. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Collette of Kirk, her sons Chad Collette of Kirk, Andrew and wife Shelley Collette of Blue Mound Kansas, Mitchell Collette of Colby Kansas, granddaughters Presley, Cora, and Penelope Collette of Blue Mound Kansas. Her parents Carol Boone of Loveland Colorado, Delbert and Pat Liming of Kirk. Her siblings Doug, Shara, and Matt Liming of Kirk. Numerous Uncles, Aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Her contagious laughter and bold attitude will forever be missed by all.
