Born November 14, 1915 to Edward & Ethel Walsworth in Lincoln, Nebraska
Evalyn was the fourth child of four children and moved to Otis, Colorado in the 1920’s. She passed away on March 16, 2017 at the Yuma Life Care Center in Yuma, Colorado at the age of 101.
Evalyn met and married Ross Holsclaw on March 3, 1937. To this union one son was born Terry.
They farmed and ranched south of Otis until 1961. They moved to Otis and after retiring, enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and traveling with family and friends. In 2003 they entered Yuma Life Care and lived there until their deaths.
Evalyn was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ethel Walsworth, two sisters Winifred Fensler, Lucille Scheffert, one brother Kenneth Walsworth, husband Ross Holsclaw, two Grand-daughters Hope Lee Holsclaw, Terri Ann Clayton.
Evalyn is survived by her son Terry L. and wife Mary Ann Holsclaw, grandson Michael Scott Holsclaw, great-grandson Justin Robert Hamel great-great granddaughters Jayden Ann Hamel, Eden Hamel, Isley Lorraine Hamel,, great-grandson Garret Michael Holsclaw great-great granddaughter Layla Renee Holsclaw, and great-grandson Conner Lynn Holsclaw, nephew and wife Jerry & Darlene Boe.
There was a graveside service on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Otis Cemetery in Otis, Colorado with CRE Randall Feather, of the First Presbyterian Church of Otis, officiating. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
