Elton Ray “Mac” McCreath of Yuma, Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 11, 2017 at the age of 68 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado after complications of Pneumonia.  He was born on April 17, 1949 to Russell and Hazel (Snyder) McCreath of Otis, Colorado. 

Mac attended the Arickaree School where he graduated in 1967.  He was also the athlete of the year in 1967.  He spent his childhood working on the farm and running around with friends.  After graduation he enlisted in the Navy and served in The Vietnam War. 

Mac was employed at the Monfort Feed Lot for twenty-seven years. 

Mac also loved the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies.  He loved collecting memorabilia.  He loved visiting with family and friends.  He loved his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews.

In 1974 Elton was married and blessed with 2 children, Eldon Ray and Sarah Renea. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Hazel (Snyder) McCreath, brother, Milford McCreath and nephew, Toby McCreath. 

He is survived by his girlfriend, Deb Wagner of Yuma, Colorado; children, Eldon (Amber) McCreath of Lyman, Wyoming  and Sarah McCreath also of Lyman, Wyoming; grandchildren, Dalton, Colton, Madison, Kaila, Morgan, Briggs and Cayson along with other loving, nieces, nephews, family and friends.   

Mac was a loving dad and grandpa.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Omaha! Ready! Set! Hut! Catch that ball dad!  We Love You! See you in Heaven!

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Otis, Colorado with Pastor Scott Bieker officiating.  Interment will follow at the Otis Cemetery in Otis, Colorado.  Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
