Cassidy Faith Hale, age 15, was born on March 14, 2000 in Holyoke, Colorado to Randy and Jackie (Speicher) Hale. She passed away as a result of a tragic automobile/pedestrian collision on September 16, 2015 in Holyoke, Colorado.
Cassidy was a student at Holyoke High School, she was selected to the Torch and Laurel National Honor Society and was a member of the Holyoke FBLA . She loved to play basketball and was thrilled by the team members and the friendships that were created with her. She was gifted in many areas including art, creative writing, music, math and science. Loving people came naturally to her. Cassidy’s faith, family and friends were very important to her. The family activities such as camping, frisbee and playing catch in the backyard. She enjoyed sitting around the firepit while making smores and laughing with her family and friends. She had a really strong bond and loving relationship with her sister, Tayler and her best friend, Bailey Hamaker. She was all about helping people and wanted to see justice served and used properly. Some of her favorite television shows were Criminal Minds, Supernatural and Young Justice.
Cassidy was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Bernard and Wilda Speicher and Wayne Elmquist, Phillip and Evelyn Anderson and her Aunt, Becky Speicher.
She will be greatly missed by her parents, Randy and Jackie Hale and sister, Tayler Hale; Paternal grandparents, Maggie and Randy Busch and Connley and Patricia Hale and maternal grandparents, Darlow and Debbie Speicher along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
There has been a memorial established in Cassidy’s name at the Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Phillips County Events Center in Holyoke, Colorado with Pastor Jeremy Woodhouse officiating. The interment followed at the Holyoke Cemetery in Holyoke, Colorado. Baucke Funeral Home of Holyoke directed the service.
